EPF2026 – A Great Success!

EPF2026 Trade Fair Delights Exhibitors and Visitors Alike

From 24 to 26 June 2026*, the Bavarian Construction Academy once again became the meeting place for the flooring industry despite exceptionally high temperatures. A total of 3,961 visitors, including exhibitors, supporting organizations, members of the trade press, and industry VIPs, attended EPF2026 to learn about the latest developments in screed, parquet flooring, and tiles.

Covering a total event area of approximately 10,000 m², including around 6,000 m² of exhibition space, the trade fair featured 112 exhibitors showcasing innovative products, state-of-the-art machinery, high-performance screed trucks, silo systems, and a wide range of new products and services for the flooring trade.

Despite the midsummer heat, the atmosphere throughout the event remained exceptionally positive. Trade visitors from across Germany and neighboring European countries took advantage of the opportunity to explore new products, technological innovations, and practical solutions while engaging in valuable face-to-face discussions with manufacturers, suppliers, and fellow industry professionals.

"The extraordinary temperatures did nothing to diminish the positive atmosphere at the trade fair. Our visitors came with a clear purpose: to gather information, maintain professional relationships, and gain fresh inspiration for their businesses and daily work. The overwhelmingly positive feedback from both exhibitors and visitors once again confirms EPF's role as the industry's leading platform," said Gabriela Gottwald, Managing Director of the Bavarian Construction Academy in Feuchtwangen and organizer of the trade fair.

Exhibitors were particularly impressed by the high quality of the professional discussions and the strong interest shown in their latest innovations. Many reported a large number of qualified business contacts and consistently positive responses to their products and services. Visitors likewise praised the comprehensive range of exhibits and the opportunity to experience, compare, and evaluate machinery, technical solutions, materials, and accessories first-hand.

Once again, the two sold-out evening events were among the highlights of the fair. The Beer Garden Evening, attended by more than 700 guests, and the Gala Evening, welcoming over 350 guests and featuring the presentation of the German Screed Award, each provided a unique setting for relaxed networking, professional exchange, reunions with long-standing industry colleagues, and the establishment of new business relationships.

The overwhelmingly positive feedback from both exhibitors and visitors underlines the success of EPF2026 and already builds anticipation for the next EPF Trade Fair, which will take place in summer 2029.

The honorary supporting organizations of EPF2026 were the Federal Specialist Group for Screed and Floor Coverings within the German Construction Confederation - ZDB, the State Specialist Group for Screed and Floor Coverings, the Federal Vocational Training School for Screed and Floor Coverings - Bundesfachschule Estrich und Belag e.V., and the German Federal Association for Screed and Floor Coverings - Bundesverband Estrich und Belag e.V..

The trade fair was organized and hosted by the Bavarian Construction Academy - Bayerische BauAkademie- in Feuchtwangen.

*For the first time, the EPF Trade Fair took place during the week, from Wednesday to Friday.

We did not take the decision to move the EPF Trade Fair 2026 to weekdays lightly. Rather, it is the result of numerous discussions with exhibitors, business owners, trade visitors and our supporting organisations.

Our belief: The new schedule brings tangible benefits for everyone involved – particularly for the following reasons:

Greater flexibility for trade visitors
More and more business owners prefer to visit trade fairs on weekdays, as Saturdays are increasingly being set aside for family and leisure.

Easier planning for work-related travel:
It will be easier for companies to accompany their employees and trainees to the trade fair during the week.

Greater focus on the professional environment:
The removal of Saturday sharpens the trade fair’s profile as a clearly work-related industry event.

We are convinced that this step will help to make the EPF trade fair even more targeted and successful – for everyone who brings it to life.
